They swiped right. The rest is history.

Like most millennials, Elaziel and Jordan’s love story began on a dating app in October 2022. Both lovebirds were very intentional when online dating and approached their journeys with an open heart.&nbsp; When they finally met in person, they both immediately knew it was love at first sight. Their first date was at a dog park where Jordan had the privilege of meeting his soon-to-be dogter, Hazel Marie. Hazel immediately warmed up to Jordan, and Elaziel knew this meant their love was meant to be. During the date, sparks flew. Elaziel couldn’t stop talking. Maybe it was the butterflies in her stomach or the wine they were sipping, but she knew she had to impress her future husband by talking his ear off. Fortunately, she didn’t scare him away! Jordan (who was mesmerized by Elaziel’s beauty, charm, personality and ability to talk so much during the entirety of the date) immediately asked for a second date.&nbsp; And of course, their love blossomed.

On Thanksgiving Day 2022, Jordan asked Elaziel to be his girlfriend. The records show Jordan said “I love you” that day. He said it first.&nbsp;

On December 1, 2022, Elaziel soft launched Jordan on Instagram when they picked their first real Christmas tree together.&nbsp;

Three months after officially dating, they stopped by a jewelry store on the way to dinner and went shopping for Elaziel’s dream engagement ring. They knew they were meant to be together, all that was missing was the big question. Jordan was faced with the impossible task of surprising Elaziel with the perfect moment to present the ring and confess his undying love for her…Little did she know she would have to wait a year and half for that day to come.

Both partners met each others' families and quickly meshed with their future in-laws. Their families got along well-- Jordan now even claims he loves Mexican food more than Elaziel (and wishes she did more authentic cooking).

Elaziel and Jordan had so much fun while dating. Their connection only grew stronger as they traveled the world. Whenever they were back in Austin, they would bond over the the same love for everything the city has to offer two smitten lovers.&nbsp; In early 2023, Elaziel bought a house in the suburbs and they decided to officially move in together. They loved the excitement of this new big step. Things were getting serious. Jordan made their house a home and, to this day, maintains an impeccable lawn.

On October 19, 2024, just as the sun was setting over the Texas hill country, Jordan asked Elaziel to marry him. After spending some time at their favorite winery in Florence, TX, they took a stroll along the putting greens of the golf course and Jordan asked the long-awaited question. They took photos and cried happy tears.

Today, this happy couple is finalizing details to celebrate their love on their wedding day. Jordan and Elaziel can't wait to be surrounded by their closest friends and family in beautiful San Miguel De Allende.&nbsp;

For over 15 years, Roxanne has been my ride or die. We met in high school and I quickly realized she was someone I could truly be myself with. We went to University of Texas at Austin together and have been closer than ever after college. 

Roxanne is incredibly kind and patient, and has always been by my side through my crazy ideas and spontaneous adventures. I have always been able to count on her for anything, and at this point, she is family. 

Last year, Roxanne married her best friend in Colorado and set her roots there. I love seeing her when she visits as I know we always pick up right where we left off.

I can’t say enough good things about Maddie. We met in bible study in high school and since then, we have been good friends. She is near and dear to my heart as she witnessed my baptism and supported me in my growth with the Lord.  

Maddie is the kindest and most wonderful human I know. She listens like there is no one else in the room and is incredibly thoughtful, supportive and kind hearted. She has been by my side during the difficult times and I’m blessed to have her with me in the biggest moment in my life so far. I love seeing her be an amazing mother to her sweet 4-month-old baby, Josie.

Madeline Francis

Tania is the sister I never had. We met at Parmer Lane Elementary, where I have the fondest memories. She was my neighbor and we automatically connected. I have loved her since we were young girls growing up together, having fun and getting into trouble. I was devastated when I moved away in fifth grade and we lost contact. Fortunately, we reconnected through Facebook years later. 

Tania is my longest friend. We have a bond that nobody will ever understand. We grew up so different and yet so similar. While I was studying abroad, she was getting married to her high school sweetheart. We’ve learned so much from one another through different stages in our growth. It always feels like we become young girls again when we are together. I love being part of her children's lives and love them like family.
